Aircraft Quality Inspector- 2nd Shift at Summit Employment Professionals

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWill train on 1st shift M-F 7:30am-4pm, then move to 2nd shift M-F 3pm-11:30pm Job Duties:Inspects materials, parts, and products at internal and external receipt including different stages of production as well as from outside processing operations.Records observations, certificates of conformance, may provide first article inspection supportCreate NCR’s if parts are NonconformingEnsure work orders and parts from outside processing are inspected appropriately, matched, and sent for final operations.Inspection of Sealing, Electrical Bonding, Part Configuration, Detail part orientation, final assembly to blueprint requirementsInspection of shot peen parts, chemical process, painted parts to specifications and blue print requirementsOther Duties Assigned by LeadershipRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent2 years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environmentMust possess excellent communication skills both written and oral.Ability to work on a team as well as independently.Must have strong organizational skills.Must be proficient in MS Office applications.Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret blue prints, general procedures and government regulations.Must be able to interpret and understand OEM specificationsKnowledge of measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers, calipers, height gages, Isoscope etc.) Company DescriptionWhether you want to change careers or find yourself unemployed, Summit Employment can help you land the right job, with the right company.
