Key Responsibilities Develop implement and maintain EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with all federal state and local regulations. Conduct regular EHS audits inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Lead incident investigations root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to minimize recurrence. Design and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees fostering a proactive safety culture. Manage hazardous waste air emissions wastewater discharge and other environmental programs in accordance with permits and regulations. Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to integrate EHS considerations into new projects equipment and processes. Maintain accurate EHS records prepare required reports and communicate performance metrics to management. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related field. 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment including supervisory or management responsibilities. In-depth knowledge of OSHA EPA and other relevant federal state and local EHS regulations and standards. Proven experience developing implementing and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001). Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager). Bonus Qualifications Experience with specific EHS management software platforms (EMIS). Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification. Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
