Johnson Security Bureau Inc. is hiring full-time Airport Security Guards to provide high-level security services at the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport. Work in partnership with the Monroe County Airport Authority to keep passengers staff and facilities safe while maintaining TSA compliance.Key Responsibilities:Monitor airport roads to enforce TSA no-parking rulesConduct perimeter and ramp inspectionsPerform vehicle and delivery checks at secured gatesVerify employee and contractor SIDA badgesRespond to emergencies and provide first aid until EMTs arriveMaintain radio communication with Airport Communications (AIRCOM)Write incident reports and activity logsAssist travelers and manage crowds during peak hoursSupport law enforcement and escort personnel in restricted areasRequirements:New York Security Guard LicenseHigh School Diploma Or GEDMust be at least 18 years oldValid Drivers License (for patrol duties)Strong communication and observation skillsAble to stand walk and work in all weather conditionsMust pass:FBI fingerprint & TSA background checksPre-employment drug screeningSIDA security training and testingAbility to obtain and maintain a ROC Airport security badgePreferred Qualifications:Prior security military or law enforcement experienceCPR/First Aid certificationFamiliarity with two-way radio protocolsBenefits:Competitive hourly wage with overtime & holiday pay401K retirement planPaid vacation & sick leaveHealthcare coverage (employee & dependents)Uniforms & equipment providedEmployee parking ($20/month)Ongoing training and certification supportAbout ROC Airport:ROC serves over 2.6 million passengers annually and operates 21 gates with major carriers like JetBlue Delta United Southwest and more.
