Ambassador of Fun/Costume Characters starting at $16.00 at Six Flags Darien Lake

Duties will include performing as a body/fur-suit character meeting, greeting, and entertaining our park guests with enthusiasm and high animation. Absolutely must have a positive, can do-do attitude, energy and love to create, FUN experiences!

Entertain guests of all ages and backgrounds by providing fun, one-of a kind experiences in the park with strong improvisational skill and energy

Must be able to actively engage and interact with guests, as well as with other cast members

Perform as a Character Actor in a variety of assigned roles such as: Face Characters, (High Profile), Costumed Characters (Woody & Wally), and Emcees (Hosts)

Every character actor will be leveraged for improvising, scripted and interactive moments, including, but not limited to: meet & greets, dance parties, photo ops, and engagement as an ambassador or handler

Perform at onsite, as well as off-site locations and promotional events

Other duties as assigned

Be at least 16+ years of age

Must be between 5'2" and 6'0"

Must be able to carry and wear 5 to 20 pounds of costume weight

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, twist, sit, and lift to 40lbs.

Must be able to work in crowds, heat, and cold, even in costume for extended periods of time

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others

Must be able to work flexible hours, to include weekends, evenings, & holidays

May - October: Mostly Weekends. Varied shifts
