The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if work is similar related or a logical assignment to the position.Develop and deliver customized ASL lesson plans tailored to each students needs facilitating one-on-one sessions in person or remotely.Communicate openly with families to understand their challenges and learning goals encouraging active participation during sessions.Provide real-time conversational practice in ASL helping families build confidence through interactive dialogue and role-playing scenarios.Assist families in expanding their ASL vocabulary by introducing relevant terms using visual aids and interactive activities to enhance retention.:Keep detailed records of family progress submitting weekly reports on skills mastered and areas for improvement.Work with educators to align ASL instruction with students educational goals sharing insights to enhance family support.Ensure tutoring is culturally sensitive promoting awareness of deaf culture and the importance of ASL for effective communication.Other duties as assigned.PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONSThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
