You are customer focused, enjoy building relationships and providing financial advice to your clients. A role as a Mid-Cap Financial Sponsors Banker is for you. As an Analyst with the Mid-Cap Financial Sponsors Group, you will play a key role in supporting senior team members, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the execution of transactions for private equity firms and their portfolio companies.Job ResponsibilitiesPartner with senior members of the Mid-Cap Financial Sponsors Group, sector coverage, and product bankers to prospect, pitch, and execute transactions on behalf of private equity firms and their portfolio companiesSupport client meetings and drafting sessions; assist in analyzing business plans and participating in due diligence sessionsExamine the strategic and financial merits of proposed transactions for marketing and business development purposesPlay an active role in the execution of mandated deals, including client advisory work, structuring and negotiation of legal documents, and coordination of distributionPrepare presentations to sponsor clients to support business development effortsDevelop and maintain relationships with clients to enhance overall JPMorganChase relationships and identify new opportunitiesCoordinate with product partners across the firm to maximize collaboration in sponsor coverage effortsPerform portfolio reviews of sponsor clients to assess new opportunities across various products and summarize key findings in presentationsManage internal processes related to coverage efforts and information/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) trackingWork closely with internal support departments to ensure seamless deal closing and fundingAssist with the development and mentorship of Analysts on the teamRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience1+ years of related experience in financial services, investment banking, commercial banking, or private equityFINRA Series 79, Series 63, and SIE required (or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment)Excellent communication and presentation skillsStrong work ethic, motivation, and ability to collaborate across teamsPersonal integrity, initiative, and leadership qualitiesCapacity to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people and act as a point of contactPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsExperience working with private equity firms or in a Financial Sponsors, Investment Banking, or Commercial Banking environmentDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
