Position Details Job Title: Anesthesiologist Employment Type: Full-time Salary Range: $360,000 - $385,000 Practice Environment Role: Anesthesia support for Inpatient/Outpatient surgical and GI procedures. Practice Demographics: Inpatient and Outpatient settings Reports to department leadership Work Schedule: 0700 – 1530, Monday to Friday, with call as detailed below. Call Coverage: Home call approximately 4-6 weeknights per month, 1 weekend home call approximately every 1.5 months. Specialized Equipment and Cases: Includes General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Plastics, ECT, GI, and TEE/Cardioversion. Candidate Qualifications Have a full, unrestricted medical license in any State. Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. Residency Training must have been completed, approved by the secretary of Veteran Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. S. Citizenship: non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
