Anesthesiologist Opportunity - Community Hospital Practice Location: Ahoskie, NC - Norfolk 65m Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Full-Time or Part-Time Position Highlights: Hospital-based role at a community hospital Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule (including nights/weekends) Optional part-time schedule (1 week on / 3 weeks off) Shared call with CRNA supervision Cases include general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN 180 surgical cases monthly Mix of general anesthesia, blocks, and labor epidurals Compensation & Benefits: 1099 independent contractor status Malpractice coverage provided, including tail coverage Ideal Candidate: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Comfortable with full scope of general anesthesia services Experienced in working collaboratively with CRNAs Community Details: Located in Ahoskie, NC with a short commute to Greenville, NC and Tidewater, VA Affordable living with access to the scenic beaches of North Carolina and Virginia Ideal for candidates seeking a relaxed lifestyle with excellent work-life balance
