STAFF ATTORNEY – ANTITRUST LITIGATION & COUNSELING(NON-PARTNERSHIP TRACK) Location: Washington, DCHYBRID A prominent international AmLaw 50 law firm is seeking a talented Attorney to join their highly regarded Antitrust Practice Group in Washington, DC. This non-partnership track position offers the opportunity to work on complex antitrust and competition matters involving government enforcement, merger review, and strategic counseling across a wide range of industries. Candidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentialsActive Bar Admission in the District of Columbia, in good standing3–5 years of substantive experience in antitrust lawBackground in counseling, investigations, and/or litigation under federal antitrust statutes is requiredExperience preparing and managing Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act filings is strongly desiredPrior experience with a government agency, such as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or Department of Justice (DOJ) Antitrust Division, is a plusSoft skills: Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on complex antitrust issues related to mergers, acquisitions, and joint venturesAssist with merger clearance processes, including preparing HSR filings and coordinating with regulatory authoritiesSupport investigations and enforcement actions before the DOJ, FTC, and other global competition agenciesConduct antitrust compliance counseling, risk assessments, and internal investigationsCollaborate with litigation teams on antitrust disputes and defense matters in federal and state courtsContribute to thought leadership and client education initiatives on antitrust and competition developments Why Join Us?This is an exciting opportunity to join a Chambers-ranked antitrust practice with a reputation for excellence in both government-facing and private sector matters.
