Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Apartment HVAC Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems while assisting with general apartment maintenance. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills, strong customer service, and the ability to respond to emergency maintenance requests when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
- Complete HVAC work orders efficiently and accurately.
- Perform apartment turns/make-readies, including HVAC inspections and repairs.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- Ensure all HVAC systems meet safety and compliance standards.
- Maintain inventory of HVAC parts, tools, and supplies.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and participate in an on-call rotation as required.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members.
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment maintenance and HVAC experience preferred.
- EPA Certification or HVAC Certification required.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with apartment communities.
- Knowledge of package units, split systems, heat pumps, and refrigeration systems.
- Pool certification is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday with rotating on-call responsibilities.
Pay: $23-$35+ per hour, depending on experience and certifications.
