Job Summary (API Developer) List Format - Design develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for application functionality and integration with third-party systems. - Write clean efficient and maintainable code following industry best practices in API development. - Create and maintain API documentation for ease of integration by front-end developers and external partners. - Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure secure API access to sensitive data. - Optimize APIs for high performance scalability and reliability. - Monitor troubleshoot and resolve production API issues to maintain optimal performance. - Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs with server-side logic and databases. - Work with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Implement comprehensive error handling and logging for improved API reliability and insights. - Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and code reviews. - Stay current with API development trends and technologies suggesting improvements to existing architecture.
