OverviewSusquehanna is currently looking for an Application Support Analyst to work on our Proprietary Trading Services team. You will be joining a group focusing on the support and technical operations of our core trading systems. This team is responsible for all aspects of server side application support: job scheduling troubleshooting issues intraday restarts tactical response to production issues deploying change and working directly with our developer and engineering teams.In this role you willProvide daily support of proprietary trading systems that our crucial to our businessCoordinate implement and support daily system level changes in a Windows and Linux environmentTroubleshoot trading related issues by investigating client/server log filesPerform server side application support job scheduling and basic scriptingCoordinate technical resources and communicate to both business and technology communities during production issuesWhat were looking for1-3 years of experience in an application support operations systems administration or related role requiredAbility to independently identify problems and develop solutions requiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAn understanding of operating systems (Windows and/or Linux) is requiredFoundational knowledge of Powershell Python or Bash scriptingPrevious experience within a financial services or trading environment is a plusBachelors degree in a technical discipline preferredAbout SusquehannaWhat we doWe are experts in trading essentially all listed financial products and asset classes with a focus on derivatives trading.
