The posted compensation range of $26.70 - $39.71/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Application Professional, you will be a vital technical innovator, creating and maintaining robust applications supporting our business operations.
Every day, you'll develop, test, implement, and maintain web-based applications. You'll troubleshoot system issues, improve applications, and leverage healthcare knowledge for complex tasks within our dynamic IT environment.
To be successful, you'll combine strong technical development skills with an analytical problem-solving mindset, a commitment to improvement, and the ability to deliver high-quality software solutions advancing our mission.
- Assists leadership and IT with clinic AEHR implementation and support
- Suggest changes to the existing systems, procedures and configurations to take advantage of new concepts, methods, technology and health care information processing requirements
- Works with other health care delivery tools within the healthcare system to promote connectivity between all applications in the provision of high quality, cost effective health care
- Appropriately escalates issues that may compromise patient safety, or adversely impact clinical workflow or project timelines, goals or budget
- Analyzes clinic issues and requests, determines feasibility and need, and works with appropriate departments for changes
- Monitors projects and reports any deviation in schedules or work plans to management or project manager
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelors Other Business or HR
- 5-7 years of professional training required
- Software/Computer applications training experience
- Healthcare/medical industry experience
- None, upon hire
Preferred
- Bachelors Other Business or HR
- Proficient with Epic Front Desk and Insurance workflows
