We believe that a small dedicated team with a flat structure and collaborative culture can move faster and build better products than large hierarchical organizations.About The RoleWe are looking for a skilled engineer to play a key role in developing robust AI workflows. On a daily basis, you will build end-to-end customer workflows, take them to production, and solve real world problems. You will be responsible for creating innovative, scalable, and high-performing software solutions that meet both the needs of our customers and the company's strategic objectives. You will also work directly with sales and marketing on forward leaning prototypes that will help shape the future product and infrastructure roadmaps of Thread AI and our customers.What We're Looking ForStrong engineering background with a focus on delivering production AI workflows with experience in data processing pipelines and advanced analytics toolsExperience working with AI/ML tools and products, with an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the technologiesStrong coder with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similarAbility to collaborate effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals, with a strong spike in clear communication to both internal and external stakeholdersExperience with database systems (SQL/NoSQL, embeddings) and data storage solutions.A strong emphasis on high decomp skills, with the ability think creatively to develop effective solutions to complex design challenges while balancing project delivery expectationsWork experience with software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)Leadership and collaboration qualities, enthusiasm for real-world, responsible impactAbility and interest in traveling, if needed to client sites, but flexible based on personal preferencesWe’re committed to creating a space where our employees can bring their full selves to work and have equal opportunity to succeed.
