Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $45,000 - $56,000 DOEApplied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Program Manager - West Valley Campus (K- 7th Grade)AZACS is growing, and we invite you to apply to be part of our award-winning teamAZACS was awarded the 2023/2024 National ESEA Distinguished Schools Award for Arizona and the 2022 YASS Prize for innovation in education and providing a transformational experience by expanding unique individualized learning programs for autism charter schools.Under the supervision and direction of the Campus Director of ABA Practices, the ABA Program Manager will be responsible for supervising and training instructional staff on implementing ABA strategies, tier 1 behavioral strategies, and behavior intervention plans within AZACS.Candidates must be experienced in the correct design, implementation, and oversight of ABA behavior strategies and have significant experience conducting these activities within school settings. This candidate must demonstrate excellent leadership skills and the ability to train, coach, and motivate instructional staff. The ABA Program Manager will work hand-in-hand with a BCBA at the school to promote a positive school culture that focuses on implementing a best-practice education model to achieve optimal results for students on the autism spectrum.Duties:Data CollectionWork with BCBA to conduct student behavioral evaluations/re-evaluations, including Functional Behavior Assessments, implementation of PEAK, and other ABA practicesConduct weekly fidelity of implementation checks on behavior intervention plans, discrete trial training, and classroom management strategiesEnsure data-driven instruction through regular data analysis with classroom teachers for each childCoaching and MentoringOversee classroom staff in the delivery of all ABA services and the implementation of tier 1 behavior strategiesTrain and support classroom staff with student-specific Behavior Intervention PlansMaintains knowledge of special education teaching methods, research, and best practices through professional development and studyConduct group trainings for teachers, paraprofessionals, new employees, or parentsConduct one-on-one and in-class coaching sessions and observations for classroom staff using competency-based training measuresProvide evidence of weekly monitoring, evaluation, and training of the instructional staff consistent with the AZACS Instruction and Alignment ManualOtherAssist in managing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for all studentsUpdate the student information spreadsheets/databases list when students or staff change overSenior ABA Manager only: Provide BCBA campus supervision hours to staff obtaining RBT certificationConsistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Experience and training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) required:Level I: At least one semester of higher education in Applied Behavior Analysis completed (15 credit minimum); may or may not have had any BCBA supervision completedLevel II: Completed ABA Masters degree certification program, with BCBA supervision hours neededLevel III: Completed ABA Masters degree certification program and has completed all BCBA supervision requirements (not a licensed BCBA)Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance cardCurrently enrolled in or have completed an ABA Masters certification program required1-2 years of management experienceBenefits:Competitive pay based on experience (salaried 10-month school-year position: $45,000 to $56,000)Eligible to participate in benefits including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, critical care, hospitalization, scheduled accident coverage, voluntary supplemental life, and pet insurance!80 hours of Paid Time Off and Paid Federal HolidaysPaid fall, winter, and spring breaksEligible to participate in 401K with company matchComplimentary access to Calm Health for you and up to 5 of your loved onesBCBA supervision hours are provided at no cost to youGreat professional development and advancement opportunitiesADA and Other Requirements:Positions in this class require: stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.Light Work:Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.Working Conditions:Work is routinely performed in an indoor and outdoor classroom setting.Supervisory/Evaluation Duties:Coaches, monitors, evaluates, and mentors behavioral specialists and paraprofessionals working with students with disabilities.The information contained in this job description is for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and is not an exhaustive list of the duties performed by this position.
