Apprentice Electrician at Lux Electrical LLC
JOB DESCRIPTION
Lux Electrical is seeking a motivated and dependable Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. This position offers hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical construction while working under the supervision of licensed electricians.
Responsibilities
Assist journeymen and foremen with installation of electrical systems
Install conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid) and pull wire
Assist with installation of lighting, receptacles, panels, and devices
Support generator, service, and distribution installations
Follow jobsite safety procedures and company policies
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Perform tasks in compliance with NEC and local codes
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Enrolled in or willing to enroll in an electrical apprenticeship program
Basic understanding of electrical tools and materials preferred
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Reliable transportation to job sites
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions
