JOB DESCRIPTION
Apprentice Machine Operator
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Pay: $15-$18/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, plus occasional Saturdays (6:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
Job Summary
Integrity Staffing is hiring an Apprentice Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing facility in Broken Arrow, OK. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in machining and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and interested in operating and maintaining precision machining equipment.
Candidates with experience operating machinery such as manual lathes, mills, drill presses, laser cutters, water jets, or plasma tables are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Learn to set up and operate lathe machines
- Load materials and secure parts for machining
- Assist with tooling changes and machine setup
- Monitor machine performance and production quality
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges
- Perform basic quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Assist with troubleshooting machining issues
- Maintain production and inspection records
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Work closely with experienced machinists and production personnel
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- Previous manufacturing, machining, or metal fabrication experience is a plus
- Technical school, vocational training is preferred but not required
- Experience operating industrial machinery is beneficial
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic math skills, including arithmetic and measurements
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
