Title: Swim Lesson Director - The Nitros of Kansas (Part-Time Guaranteed, Up to Full-Time Seasonal) Job Type: Part-time (18 guaranteed hrs/week) with full-time hours available April-August Location: Wichita, KS (Hybrid - pool onsite at Wichita State University + remote admin) Pay: $10-$16/hour based on experience & certifications (details below) About Us The Nitros of Kansas is a USA Swimming-sanctioned program serving Wichita and surrounding communities. We provide high-quality swim lessons for infants through adults, a structured developmental program, and a competitive USA Swimming team. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and coachable Swim Lesson Director to lead our rapidly growing swim lesson division. Qualifications Required: Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Ability to work independently and manage a team Full availability April-August (peak season) Preferred: Lifeguard certification WSI or equivalent Swim lesson teaching experience Experience running a lesson program Ability to evaluate swimmers efficiently Pay Scale $10/hr during in-house training $12/hr starting rate for new instructors with limited experience $13/hr with college degree $14/hr with 5+ years instructor experience $15/hr experienced lesson director (registrations, schedules, instructors) $16/hr with college degree and director experience Opportunity for raises based on program growth, performance, and education.
