We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Water Fitness Instructor will lead the facility's swim fitness. The ages will range between 12-60 years old. Applicants should be able to construct, articulate, and execute proper sessions and deliver curriculum in line with organizational philosophy. NOTE: Candidates must not currently be employed with a competing venue or partner organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Teaching relevant skills, tactics, and techniques to a wide range of athletes, individuals and groupMonitoring, evaluating, and enhancing athlete performance and needs.Providing suitable feedback via positivity, encouragement, example, and motivationDemonstrating an activity clearly by breaking down the task or technique into a sequenceFriendly and courteous with athletes, parents, and Sand Mountain team membersIdentifying athlete strengths and areas for developmentEnsuring a safe environment for all athletesImplementing the curriculum in an accurate, creative, positive, and efficient fashionOrganize meets, both home and awayTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:Bachelor's degree preferredCoaching licenses (or active pursuit of) preferredFamiliarity with contemporary coaching methodologyNeat in appearance and professional in manner and communicationInspiring confidence and self-beliefREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skillsMust be a team playerMust be willing to work a flexible scheduleWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to move or lift lightweight equipment.Position requires standing and activity for extended periods of time (indoors or outdoors), squatting, stooping, jogging, or bending into awkward positions while performing job functionsJob Posted by ApplicantPro
