Deer Park School District #414Archery AdvisorPositions Open: 2Location: Deer Mark Middle SchoolStipend: $500.00School Year: Reports To: Building PrincipalPosition Summary:Deer Park School District is seeking a motivated and responsible individual to serve as the Archery Advisor for the school year. The advisor will oversee the districts archery program providing instruction supervision and support to student participants while ensuring a safe and positive learning environment. This is a stipend position with a compensation of $500.00 for the full academic year.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Organize and supervise all archery practices meetings and competitions.Instruct students on archery techniques safety protocols and equipment usage.Promote teamwork sportsmanship and personal responsibility among participants.Maintain equipment and inventory; ensure proper storage and safety.Coordinate with school administration regarding schedules transportation (if applicable) and competition participation.Enforce all school district policies and safety guidelines.Communicate effectively with students parents and staff.Submit any required reports attendance logs or budget requests in a timely manner.Qualifications:Must be 21 years of age or older.Experience with archery or coaching preferred; prior experience working with students is a plus.Ability to supervise and manage groups of students in a safe and organized manner.Strong communication and organizational skills.Terms of Employment:Part-time stipend position for the school year.Compensation: $500.00 payable according to district payroll schedule.Schedule to be determined in coordination with administration.25-26 Stipend: $500.00Deer Park policies and Procedures can be accessed online at will work with the selected applicant to explore possible certificated positions if necessaryBenefits: This position is not benefits eligible including medical dental vision life and AD&D and flexible spending arrangements in accordance with the state School Employees Benefits Board: position is not eligible for retirement: Application RequirementsApplicants must complete the application online: and must include the following:ResumeCover letterThree (3) letters of referenceConfidential reference checks (at least 1 including a most recent supervisor)As required by RCW 28A.400.303 school district employees are required to complete a Washington State Patrol (WSP) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) background checks.
