We believe in going the extra mile and aim to make a genuine difference in our participants lives.The WelbeHealth Area Manager Transportation oversees transportation operations for multiple WelbeHealth centers particularly managing dispatching scheduling transportation supervisors and performance on key market operational metrics.Essential Job Duties:Manage direct reports including hiring training supervising and mentoring and oversee transportation service scheduling and driver supervision ensuring efficiency and high customer satisfactionApply for and maintain DOT certifications and registrationsMonitor DOT-DMV Pull Notice reports in Accurate and SambaSafety QortaRespond to any incidents according to training policies proceduresMonitor and improve the performance of all markets on key operational metrics as well as monitor vehicle safety compliance including but not limited to vehicle safety checks and verification of vendor compliance with vehicle inspection and maintenance schedulesFacilitate market-based meetings with leadership to align with WelbeHealths strategies and goalsEffectively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings including preparation active engagement and timely follow-upJob Requirements:High school diploma or equivalency required; some college preferredCurrent valid state drivers license and copy of most recent vehicle insurance required; must have a drivers license for at least five (5) years with no more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) at fault accident in the last three (3) yearsIn the event of future operational changes you may be notified and WelbeHealth may require you to obtain a Passenger (P) Endorsement on your drivers license for the classification of a passenger transportation vehicleMust participate in the DMV pull notice and random testing for alcohol and controlled substances programs pass DOJ/FBI background check and pass DOT physical examMinimum of six (6) years of work experience in a public/private transportation settingMinimum of one (1) year of experience with a frail or elderly populationFour (4) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team membersBenefits of Working at WelbeHealth: Apply your expertise in new ways as we rapidly expand.
