In the role of Area Pump Station and Pipeline Business Class Leader, we'll count on you to:
- Develop Technical Leadership and Best Practices: Responsibility for leading the ongoing development, monitoring and improvement of technical capabilities within the Business Class. This will be achieved through actively integrating national BC expertise and industry best practices into local project delivery.
- Promote Program Growth and Development: This individual will be responsible for the growth, and development of area staff in the Business Class. This responsibility includes developing BC-specific goals and identifying and supporting top-line growth initiatives such new client and/or project opportunities across all market sectors.
- Deliver Projects/Programs: The BCL will be responsible for managing and leading a team of professionals practicing within the BC. This leadership includes managing workload, facilitating teamwork communication, recruitment initiatives and workshare across the Southwest Region, coordinating technical delivery of project goals and perspectives.
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 15 years' experience leading projects and teams with a focus on pump stations and pipelines. Proven ability to manage all aspects of project delivery, including project teams, deliverables, quality processes, and administration (scope/schedule/budget) Experience effectively managing and motivating direct reports. Strong leadership skills, including team management and motivation, communication and growth and development strategy Ability to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, as well as balance multiple projects by prioritizing effectively. Strong understanding of applicable industry standards, laws, policies and procedures. Ability to build, effective implement and manage training programs; workload and staffing plans; marketing plans and proposal preparation and business group budgets Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field 10 years of experience Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience Experienced in development and management of diverse teams Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
