Area Sales Managers will gain hands-on education with innovative and world-renowned laser technology alongside the guidance of sales methodology enabling them to confidently prospect qualify promote and close sales in the field. They are also responsible for building positive relationships with private practice and medical spa providers as well as their administrative and staff members. This position will also contribute to developing and implementing sales strategies aligned with the company core values positioning and messaging. Ultimately the area sales manager will grow Astanzas install base while establishing a positive reputation in the defined geographic region. This is an excellent opportunity for an aesthetic sales professional with capital equipment sales experience and refined prospecting skills to let their potential shine!Travel Requirements: This position requires travel of 75% or less driving throughout assigned territory. All sales employees are required to drive a personal vehicle for company business. This vehicle is to be in good condition and well maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Independently drive success of territory growth through cold-calling and on-site meetingsGenerate leads with organized and strategic route planning Develop strong relationships with key decision-makersGuide prospective new customers through sales process efficiently and effectively Unearth pain points and offer solutionsCreate urgency utilizing professional and ethical sales techniques to close sales Defend price. Sell outcomes and value not discounts.Negotiate details of sale and manage funding within company policies and guidelinesCommunicate regularly with direct manager on all matters related to prospective sales current customer relationships and overall business within territoryAcquire and maintain product knowledge through training and competitive analysis Present educate and demonstrate product indications efficacy and safetyCreate brand awareness and demand for device portfolio via social mediaEngage with prospective customers in person and leveraging technology when remote (Phone calls Text Messaging Email Video Calls etc) Forecast sales with precisionExceed individual team and company goalsRepresent Astanza at select trade shows and/or KOL eventsDemonstrate a strong work ethic while representing the company with high integrity ethics honesty loyalty and professionalism alwaysComplete administrative responsibilities including business plans expense reports sales forecasting updating account profiles and maintaining CRM in a timely mannerWho are we looking forExperience:5-10 years selling capital equipment preferably in the aesthetics/laser industryTop 20% performer. Presidents Clublevel results preferredDemonstrated/proven track record of exceeding quota with complex sales cycles including multiple touch points with multiple influencers and decision makersTerritory familiarity ruthless time management pipeline hygieneHigh volume lead generation in the fieldMastery of the industry and business challenges prospective customers faceClean driving record with a valid drivers licenseCompetencies & Skills:Self-starter and disciplined to cover assigned sales territory thoroughly through both cold-calling and lead prospecting activitiesConfident and skilled to develop new customersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPossesses the ability to collaborate seamlessly and effectively across various departmentsDemonstrated capacity to sell a novel product with unique competitive advantagesCommunicate clearly and motivate customers to purchaseStrong interpersonal analytical organizational and leadership skillsStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to present and effectively communicate complex clinical and technical data to the audiences of various backgrounds and knowledge levelsEducation:Bachelors degree in science business communications or related field preferredPhysical Requirements:Availability to travel 50 - 75%Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends as neededAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
