Area Sales Manager Texas at Regal Rexnord

Location: This is fully remote role based out of the Dallas TX Houston TX or Austin TX area with 50% travel required.SCOPE OF ROLEThe Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving rapid growth by achieving aggressive sales targets throughout the Texas region. This role involves identifying securing and growing new customers within the territory. This role involves understanding customer needs presenting suitable products developing new products and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role is perfect for someone with a builder mindset that is looking forward to demonstrating their ability to build and grow a territory above market levels.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within territory. Understand market trends and customer needs to effectively position our products. Drive innovation by pinpointing product gaps and championing new product development projects.Customer Success: Act as a trusted advisor to solve problems remove barriers and provide exceptional value ensuring customer needs are met and fostering satisfaction and loyalty.Product Presentation: Present and explain our product features and benefits to customers using technical knowledge to demonstrate how our products meet their needs.Channel Alignment: Engage with both national and local channel partners to leverage their exposure and resources to earn share in the market.Collaboration: Team up with inside sales product management and other departments to develop winning sales strategies and improve product offerings and deliver above quota growth.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSQualifications:Bachelors degree in related field required4-5 years of related sales experience preferredProven track record of exceeding sales objectives.A working understanding of industry standards and regulations including UL IEEE NEC and IEC.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.In-depth knowledge of customer and market dynamics.Exceptional ability to prospect qualify and close new customers.Willingness to travel as required. This individual must live in Texas (preference to Austin Dallas or Houston).
