If youre ready for a career where excitement purpose and impact collidewe want to meet you.WHAT YOULL DOAs a Guest Experience Intern you will support guest-facing operations for the inaugural Grand Prix of Arlington. Youll assist with staff training ensure guest services are efficiently deployed during race week help implement wayfinding plans and event setup and manage key administrative tasks such as credentials parking and event collateral.In this role youll be an important part of delivering top-tier experiences to fans partners and teams across the motorsports world. Youll take ownership of key responsibilities collaborate across departments and bring energy and innovation to a fast-paced environment.The Grand Prix of Arlington is a joint venture (JV) project between the Dallas Cowboys and REV the official entertainment partner of the Texas Rangers. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESWork closely with Event & Logistics Manager on all training materials and sessions for guest services staff alongside our JV partners.Ensure the efficiency of guest services deployment during and leading up to the event ensuring that all areas are properly staffed and operating as planned.Assist with overall deployment of wayfinding plan; including creation of routing maps diagrams and other documents.Manage facility set-up and tear-down operations that include bike rack placement signage and other event needsProvide administrative support to Event & Logistics Manager specifically when it comes to processing and tracking all insurance certificates and the credential process.Assist with creation of Information Binders and other event collateral.Efficiently process parking and credential requests to appropriate parties.Actively participate in the creation and deployment of credential boards around the venue.Support additional GPA staff in other departments on an as needed basisOther duties as assigned.WHAT YOU BRINGWere looking for someone whos ready to bring great effort every day and is committed to growing with us.Required Experience & Skills:Strong interest in guest experience event operations and venue logisticsFriendly professional and service-oriented approachAbility to build positive working relationshipsExperience with Canva or other design software preferred.Strong listening skills with the ability to follow verbal and written directionAbility to quickly process and react to challenges with minimal supervisionInnovative self-driven and persistent problem-solverStrong verbal/written communication and advanced computer skillsEffective interpersonal and leadership traitsStrong communication and collaboration skillsA proactive flexible mindset and commitment to excellencePassion for creating memorable experiencesCultural competence and the ability to thrive in a diverse environmentAlignment with Penske Entertainments core values and standardsEducation:Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or universityLeadership:This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilitiesFLEXIBILITY & TRAVELSchedule varies by event phase:January 5-January 16: 16 hrs/wkJanuary 19-January 30: 24 hrs/wkFebruary 2-February 27: 40 hrs/wkMarch 2-March 15: 40hrs/wkMarch 16-March 24: 24 hrs/wkExtended hours required during event periods are to be expectedNo travel requiredOur teams work together to create flexibility that supports life in and out of workPHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to lift up to 50 lbsExtended periods of standing or walking and working outdoorsComfort working indoors/outdoors and around event noiseMust have the stamina to work long hours and must be willing to work an irregular schedule which will include weekends or evenings.WORK ENVIRONMENTFast-paced collaborative office and event settingsOutdoor work during load-in/load-out and event operationsEmployee must meet with others on a regular basisEmployee is faced with frequent interruptions and must be able to multi-task.BENEFITS & PERKS Behind-the-scenes access to the inaugural Grand Prix of Arlington and the opportunity to both contribute to the events success and serve as an event ambassador.Exposure to large-scale logistics and production including venue setup vendor coordination and race-weekend operations.Networking opportunities with industry professionals partners and event staff.EQUAL OPPORTUNITYPenske Entertainment is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
