A North San Jose client seeks a highly experienced physical designer passionate about delivering high value customer specific SoCs for applications like High-Performance Compute Datacenter AI/ML automotive IoT 5G. Industry veterans. Fun stuff. Projects covering all the closely with customer frontend and integration teams. Complexleading-edge designs. Low power builds. 28nmdown to 3nm. Advanced packaging i.e. Chiplets 2.5D 3D-IC. Fast tape outs.A seasoned hands-on MS/BSEE with breadth and depth in the areas below:MS/BSEEExpert handling of Verilog HDL Netlist and Physical Design Libraries.Power analysis. IR-drop. Static Timing Analysis.Physical Verification (PV) and fix PV errors.PrimeTime. PrimePower. Redhawk.Implementation. ICC2. Innovus.Flat and Hierarchical layouts.Scripting (Perl/Tcl/Python).Ableto explain processes and answer customer questions during meetings.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability toanalyze and resolve physical design challenges.Location: San Jose CA.
