Learn why so many people have made the choice to join our team and stay here.Job TitleArmed Transport GuardJob DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Deliver or pick up and reconcile the valuables at a customers locationMaintain radio communication with the vehicle crew and dispatch personnel to ensure a secure transactionMaintain the highest degree of security and control of the customer shipment at all timesMaintain a courteous and professional demeanor while performing daily customer interactionsRemain alert and prepared at all times not only protecting the crew or premises against attack but also watching for the accidental mishandling of packages that might result in a lossReconcile customer deposits and receipts of all valuables handled throughout the daily scheduled runObserve all security and safety proceduresAble to work weekends holidays and/or extended hoursCross-train and perform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Minimum of 6 months experience in at least one of the following: Messenger/Courier positions face to face customer service position security experience military experience or protective services experienceA valid drivers licenseSatisfy all applicable Department of Transportation requirementsMinimum of 21 years of ageA valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirementsA valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licensesAble to lift at least 50 poundsPreferred Qualifications:Previous armored car messenger experienceBasic math skillsHigh School diploma or GEDProfessional Skills:Excellent ethics and integrityHigh attention to detailCollaborative work styleExcellent customer serviceAbility to work independentlyProfessional positive demeanorAbout BrinksBrinks is the global leader in security and logistics services trusted by banks financial institutions and businesses in both public and private sectors.
