Job Description
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks ships and surface cabin equipment.Weld paint and refurbish equipment as needed.Conduct mechanical inspections and troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools.Assist in reworking repairing testing and modifying non-conforming equipment.Ensure compliance with Health Safety & Environmental (HS&E) policies and procedures.Handle special projects as assigned.Preferred Certifications (not mandatory)A/C CertificationElectrical MaintenanceStationary EngineerTechnical SkillsBasic electrical experience with 3-phase 480V and single-phase 120V systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints wiring diagrams assembly prints and parts lists.Familiarity with formal maintenance procedures and practices.Knowledge of hydraulic circuits and troubleshooting techniques.Proficient in using multimeters megohmmeters hi-pot testers and other basic instruments.Basic computer skills.QualificationsTechnical diploma OR minimum 1 year of relevant industrial experience in electro-mechanical functions.Experience in one or more of the following industries: airline military oilfield automotive or electronics.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone this role we can offer the following flexible working patterns:Starting early / finishing earlyStarting late / finishing lateFlexibility within the day or week to get the job doneWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
