THE ROLE: Art DirectorAmerican Student Assistance (ASA) is national nonprofit that is changing the way kids learn about careers and prepare for their futures through access to career-readiness information and experiences.ASA fulfills its mission through free digital-first direct experiences philanthropy advocacy thought leadership groundbreaking research and impact investing. We believe that exploring career possibilities as early as middle school and providing access to education-to-career pathways aligned with ones passions and goals will result in greater confidence and long-term success for all students.We are looking for an Art Director.What Youll Do:Work with copywriter(s) to brainstorm a wide range of creative assets that communicate our brand personality and messages and motivate students to engage with our digital ecosystemKeep a pulse on the latest social media pop culture and Gen Z/Alpha trends to continually discover and highlight new ways of thinking working and engaging our student audienceProduce video/motion graphic social ads other demand generation assetsDesign organic static social assets along with an occasional white paper and deckFilm edit and produce thought leadership videosAbout You: Expert in motion graphics and graphic design (using the Adobe Creative Suite with the portfolio to back it up)A strategic thinker who can connect social trends to product benefits in authentic/relatable waysTech-savvy with an interest in Gen Z and Gen Alpha marketing (you love a good meme or TikTok trend)A self-starter with a team mentality who is extremely organized detail oriented highly driven and able to prioritize tasksConfident pitching to senior team members and then receiving and incorporating feedbackSalary Range:$77000 $100000American Student Assistance is committed to fair and transparent determining compensation we consider a variety of job-related factors including prior experience certifications and licenses skills and expertise geographic location and internal equity.We take a total compensation approach meaning we look beyond salary alone to support reward and recognize the whole individual.
