EMPLOYER: Harbor Employees LLCPOSITION: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer WORKSITE: 200 North LaSalle, Suite 2020, Chicago, IL 60601 (Part-time telecommuting is permissible (up to 4 days per week) from within the Chicago, IL metropolitan area.) OFFERED WAGE:  $127,754.00 / Year  JOB DUTIES: Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide clear communication of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts. Design and deploy AI solutions, including intelligent workflows and robotic process automation, tailored to industry-specific needs in legal or financial sectors. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on Azure for real-time machine learning model deployment. Support, fine-tune, and optimize large language models to ensure efficient performance across business intelligence applications. implement monitoring, logging, and tuning of machine learning (ML) models and data pipelines to enhance performance, resource use, and cost-effectiveness. Part-time telecommuting is permissible (up to 4 days per week) from within the Chicago, IL metropolitan area.  Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Operations Research, Machine Learning, or related field, plus three (3) years of experience as a decision science consultant working with artificial intelligence systems and data analysis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must include at least one (1) year of experience with: Python; machine learning (ML) frameworks including TensorFlow and PyTorch; Apache Airflow; Azure cloud services; machine learning, intelligent workflows, and developing intelligent automation solutions for professional services; orchestrating real-time data pipelines, designing adaptive AI frameworks for legal or financial operations, leading cross-functional AI transformation projects, and creating intelligent automation roadmaps.  About Us:Harbor is the preeminent provider of expert services across strategy, legal technology, operations, and intelligence.
