Gra-Tac Heating & Cooling, a locally owned and operated HVAC company with over 49 years of continued service in Bowling Green, KY, is hiring a Licensed Journeyman HVAC Service Technician to expand our team.As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing new & old heat pumps, gas furnaces, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Apply today to join our team!*Key Responsibilities:** Repair and maintenance of HVAC systems, including heat pumps, gas heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.* Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become larger issues.* Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs.* Ensure all work is completed safety and to state & local codes.* Work with customers to provide expert HVAC advice and solutions to meet their specific needs.* Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job with iPad/customer service software.* Continuously improve technical knowledge and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.*Qualifications / Requirements:** Possess and maintain a current Kentucky HVAC Journeyman License 3-5 years.* Possess and maintain Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.* Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.* Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.* Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.* HVAC certification or relevant trade school diploma.* NATE certification is plus.* Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, carry or maneuver heavier items.* Work off Ladders, Lifts, and on Roof Tops when necessary.* Willingness to work in various weather conditions and occasionally in tight spaces.*Benefits:** Competitive Salary* 401(k) matching up to 3%* Paid time off* Paid Holidays* Single premium health insurance 100% covered* Dental insurance* Vision insurance* Supplemental insurance* Employee discount* Company truck* Fuel card* Tools provided* Continuing EducationJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,760.00 - $62,400.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k) 3% Match* Company truck* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Fuel card* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Tools provided* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to Friday* On callSupplemental Pay:* Bonus opportunities* Double time pay* Overtime pay* Performance bonusPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: On the road
