If you are interested in this Assembler 1, General position, please contact Milos Pavlovic at 586-788-750 or Assembler 1, General Compensation The pay for this position is $18.20 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Assembler 1, General Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM No drug screening required (background check must be completed prior to start) Must be open to overtime as needed based on business needs Assembler 1, General Responsibilities Perform fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment Conduct quality inspections in accordance with specifications Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines Use basic measurement tools such as microscopes Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks Work collaboratively in a team environment and rotate tasks as needed Assembler 1, General Requirements High School Diploma or GED Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days 0-1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred Reliable transportation is required Mechanical aptitude required Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English Ability to perform basic math calculations Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills Stable work history (1-2+ years with previous employers; no job hoppers) Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs Assembler 1, General Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or medical device environment Familiarity with quality inspections and production line processes Experience using microscopes or measurement tools If you think this Assembler 1, General position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
