Assembler - 2nd Shift at Award Staffing

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Assembler
• Pay Rate: $20.50/Hour
• Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
• Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 2:30PM-12AM & Friday 12PM-4PM, O/T required from time to time.
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
1. High school diploma/GED.
2. Capable of reading blueprints and understanding work orders.
3. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
4. Ability to read a tape measure.
5. Ability to use power tools such as a drill.
6. Regularly bends, twists, stoops, pushes, pulls, and reaches with hands and arms.
7. Must be able to stand or sit as needed for the entire shift.
8. Very keen vision and hearing is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assemble hatches using small hand and power tools.
2. Prepare panels for painting by putting insulation in and hanging panels on hooks.
3. Package completed assemblies and fill orders.
4. Work with team members to maximize productivity.
5. Keep area well organized and clean.
6. Work within all safety guidelines.
7. Cross train in various departments to fill in when needed.
8. Performs frequent quality checks.
9. Other duties as assigned.
