If interested in this Medical Device Assembler / Quality Inspection position APPLY NOW for IMMEDIATE consideration Brittney Blackman text MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER / QUALITY INSPECTION DETAILS AND COMPENSATION: Location: Sumter SC 29153 - 100% on-site Payrate: $15.50/hr Required Availability: Full-Time Monday - Friday, 8a-4p Possible Saturdays based on business needs MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER / QUALITY INSPECTION SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS: The Medical Device Assembler / Quality Inspection will support a medical manufacturing environment in the Sumter, SC area. This role involves inspecting products and packaging, relabeling materials, repacking inventory, and assisting with quality-focused production activities. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience in manufacturing, assembly, quality inspection, or warehouse operations. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER / QUALITY INSPECTION RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform visual inspections of parts, labels, and packaging Conduct basic functional testing of products Relabel and repackage materials into cartons Assist with manufacturing, assembly, testing, and packaging processes Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines Conduct quality checks on production lines Operate and assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Maintain a clean and organized work environment Support team production goals and rotate between tasks as needed MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER / QUALITY INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. 1+ year of manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or production experience Strong attention to detail Ability to read and understand written instructions in English Basic math and communication skills Comfortable using measurement tools and inspection equipment Ability to work independently and in a team environment Reliable attendance and punctuality required Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks in a production environment Take the Next Step!
