Assembler

Join our team as an Assembler on the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 12 AM, with initial training during the 1st shift for at least one month. You will work in a clean room environment, performing assembly, machine operation, and final quality checks on flexible materials. Your role will involve operating plastic heat sealing equipment and potentially learning to operate CNC machines. A high focus on quality and efficiency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assembly in an ISO 7 clean room using designated PPE.
• Operate plastic heat sealing equipment during item assembly.
• Learn and operate CNC machines if required.
• Follow multi-step processes to assemble custom-specific items.
• Test assembled units to ensure quality standards are met.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly.
• Proficiency with hand tools and blueprint reading.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools.
• Experience in machine operation and quality inspection.

• Final assembly experience.
• Quality control expertise.
• High attention to detail.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean room setting where you will engage in physical activities such as bending, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Expect to use vibratory and other basic tools, mostly while standing during 8-hour shifts. Overtime work may be expected as required by project demands.

This is a Contract position based out of Peoria, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
