Assembler | 1st and 2nd Shift Available | Weekly Pay

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. This role involves operating tools, equipment, and processes according to provided instructions and experience, and aiding in the creation of instructions when none are available. The assembler is expected to adhere to standard work, maintain quality standards, and communicate effectively with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate tool, equipment, and processes as per instructions and experience.
• Assist in creating instructions where none are available.
• Adhere to standard work, quality policies, and customer specifications.
• Monitor work to ensure quality standards and communicate effectively with supervisors.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping, record-keeping, labor tracking, inventory control, and process documentation.
• Support improvement initiatives and participate in improving safety, cleanliness, product quality, and efficiency.
• Keep up to date with all certifications and training requirements.
• Train others on all tasks if assigned.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of assembly experience
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to read assembly diagrams or blueprints
• Basic computer skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
