Outdoor Unit Assembler

The role involves assembling units following dimensional drawings, safety requirements, and quality methods. You will utilize various tools such as pneumatic impacts, pliers, and wrenches. This position requires the ability to move between several workstations and perform tasks such as casing, wiring, sub-assembly mating, recognition, and reporting of errant parts. You will also be responsible for recording completed processes.

Work Environment:

The job is set in a large plant environment that is non-temperature controlled. You are expected to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs (non-repetitive), and stoop. There are four roles available: two on the first shift (outdoor roles) from 5 am to 3 pm Monday to Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays mandatory; and two for the second shift from 3 pm to 1 am Monday to Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays mandatory. The final assembly takes place outdoors on the dock for crane and truck loading.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grenada, MS.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
