JOB DESCRIPTION
Manufacturing Production Technician
Join our team as a Manufacturing Production Technician where you will play a vital role in producing high-quality parts using molds and presses. You will work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring that production parts meet company standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate press machines to create parts using molds.
- Clean and prime parts with appropriate chemicals and solutions.
- Measure stock to ensure correct thickness and length.
- Place various materials by hand in molds, on mandrels, or in build fixtures.
- Weigh stock and scrap for salvaging purposes.
- Monitor production to detect defects early.
- Utilize production equipment such as calipers and scales regularly.
- Complete material handling records according to company and ISO standards.
- Adhere to internal safety policies and procedures consistently.
- Maintain a clutter-free and hazard-free work area, including setup and cleanup at shift start and end.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Essential Skills
- Ability to use a power drill to wind wires around fixtures.
- Manual hand dexterity.
- Ability to strip wires.
- Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
- Experience using hand tools for fabrication.
- Attention to detail in mechanical assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with wire wound roles.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as calipers, depth gages, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
- Ability to work with wire strippers and crimpers.
- Experience using power drills for wrapping and winding wires.
- Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of specific education requirements.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing environment where you may encounter variable conditions such as temperature instability and atmospheric conditions, including fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or vapors. Exposure to solvents and other industrial chemicals is possible. Safety protocols are rigorously followed to ensure a safe working space.

This is a Contract position based out of Mcminnville, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.30 - $23.10/hr.
