JOB DESCRIPTION

Assembler

Join our team as an Assembler, where you will perform a variety of assembly and hand operations crucial to the manufacturing of medical devices. Your role will involve working with various tools and equipment, loading and unloading components, and ensuring the highest standards of quality through meticulous inspection processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly and hand operations such as deburring, buffing, and mating components.
  • Conduct visual in-process inspections to ensure manufacturing consistency.
  • Maintain quality by inspecting parts using measuring devices, gauges, and microscopes.
  • Complete and maintain production and quality control records in accordance with company standards.
  • Adjust assembly equipment settings and tools to maintain accuracy and specifications.
  • Provide regular feedback to co-workers and management to improve assembly operations.
  • Clean equipment, tools, and work areas as necessary.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively and safely use assembly equipment.
  • Fill out accurate and timely documentation both written and on the computer.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in assembly, production, and inspection processes.
  • Ability to perform hand operations and packing efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Three months previous manufacturing assembly experience preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to retain and apply various Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Work Environment:

You will be working in a clean room environment where cleanliness is of utmost importance. The facility is well-maintained with smaller assembly teams that adapt to production schedules. Dress code includes jeans and a t-shirt, avoiding ripped clothing, with additional cleanroom attire such as hair/beard nets, lab coats, and booties over shoes.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, PA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
