JOB DESCRIPTION
Assembler II
The Assembler II will be responsible for the detailed assembly of in-process units, focusing on electrical wiring, brazing, air compressor installation, silicone sealing, and foaming. Assemblers will work on both standard and 'cyclone' units, requiring intricate assembly due to their double-doored design. This role involves using various tools to install wire harnesses, connect wires, and perform mechanical assembly tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for silicone installation and foaming, which involves using a caulk gun and connecting units to foaming machines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical wiring and brazing of in-process units.
- Install air compressors using mallets, hand tools, rivet guns, and other power tools.
- Conduct silicone sealing and foaming to ensure proper insulation.
- Follow diagrams to accurately connect wire harnesses.
- Carry out quality inspections and checks on assembled units.
Essential Skills:
- Proven mechanical assembly and wiring experience.
- Proficiency in using power and hand tools.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours a day and lift 30-40 lb parts repetitively.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ownership of steel-toed or composite-toed protective shoes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with air compressors.
- Familiarity with sheet metal work and deburring.
- Ability to work safely and maintain high quality based on industry standards.

Work Environment:
Our facility is a standard fabrication and assembly operation divided into fabrication and assembly areas. The fabrication area includes laser cutting, deburring, and brazing stations. Units move on carts within the organized, yet space-constrained assembly area. The temperature-controlled environment requires wearing arm sleeves, and personal protective equipment such as steel toes, safety glasses, and protective gear is mandatory. Work hours are from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with mandatory overtime on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Noblesville, IN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
