Assembly / TeardownIn this role you will disassemble commercial HVAC units to reclaim aluminum copper and other metals for recycling and disposal of HVAC components in compliance with industry regulations.No experience needed but you must be able to:Must be able to pass a background and drug screen including THC Able to work shift outside under a covered awning Able to use hand toolsAble to lift 50lbsLOCATION: Reno NV 89506POSITION: Contract to HireHOURS: 6:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 6:00am to 10:00amPAYRATE: $19.00 hourBENEFITS: Yes Medical Dental Vision Life etc.Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient and thorough recovery.Handle and sort materials through the reclaim process.Identify and address any potential issues with the equipment during the recovery process.Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in all reclaim activities.Cross train and help in other areas depending on workload.QUALIFICATIONS:Previous manufacturing or construction experience.Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of HVAC systems refrigerants and their environmental impact helpful.Ability to stand for extended periods and work with dust/oil.Able to use hand and power tools including metal cutting saws.Works with a positive attitude and is a team player.Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.Has an attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Able to handle and sort different materials.Pre-Employment Screening:Please note that all offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening based on local state and federal laws in your region.
