Assembly/Test Technician

As an Assembly/Test Technician on our dynamic third shift team (11 PM - 7 AM) at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing advanced opto-electronic products that power global networks. You'll collaborate closely with management, engineers, and fellow technicians in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment where adaptability is key. Your attention to detail and fine motor skills will directly contribute to improving manufacturing yields and throughput. Your Responsibilities

Assemble and test complex opto-electronic products with precision and attention to detail.

  • Utilize fine motor skills to perform intricate assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interpret and follow instructions of varying complexity to ensure quality output.
  • Collaborate effectively with management and engineering teams to enhance manufacturing yields.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and processes to meet production goals and deadlines.

Your Skills and Experience

You have:

  • Detail-oriented approach and strong fine motor skills
  • Able to follow and comprehend instructions of varying complexity
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience in Opto-Electronic manufacturing operations
  • Proficiency with MS Windows operating system and MS Office software
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
