Assembly Operator at Aerotek
JOB DESCRIPTION
Cleanroom Technician
Work on the assembly line.
Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing assembly at various operating stations throughout the battery line.
- Conduct quality checks on parts.
- Pack and prepare parts for shipment.
- Assemble and sub-assemble battery packs.
- Maintain general cleanliness of your cell and the facility as a whole.
- Train on multiple stations of the line, involving tasks such as adding components to battery packs, using torque tools, and operating machinery.
Essential Skills
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain focus for entire shifts, which can range from 8 to 12 hours.
- Capability to learn and operate multiple stations throughout the manufacturing process.
- Stamina to stand and stay active for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
- Flexibility to perform tasks that might require moving around, such as breaking down boxes and moving materials.
- 6 months of assembly or machine operating experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift or move 15-20 pounds at a time.
- Strict adherence to not using cell phones during shifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in production and assembly work.
- General labor skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
