Cleanroom Technician

Work on the assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing assembly at various operating stations throughout the battery line.
• Conduct quality checks on parts.
• Pack and prepare parts for shipment.
• Assemble and sub-assemble battery packs.
• Maintain general cleanliness of your cell and the facility as a whole.
• Train on multiple stations of the line, involving tasks such as adding components to battery packs, using torque tools, and operating machinery.

Essential Skills

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain focus for entire shifts, which can range from 8 to 12 hours.
• Capability to learn and operate multiple stations throughout the manufacturing process.
• Stamina to stand and stay active for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Flexibility to perform tasks that might require moving around, such as breaking down boxes and moving materials.
• 6 months of assembly or machine operating experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift or move 15-20 pounds at a time.
• Strict adherence to not using cell phones during shifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production and assembly work.
• General labor skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
