Assembly Operator at Aerotek
JOB DESCRIPTION
Assembler (2nd Shift)
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to join our team. In this role, you will interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and work orders to assemble small parts into connectors and cable assemblies. Your work will ensure these products meet all specified schematics and blueprints, maintaining our high-quality standards. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Apply today!
Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine assembly instructions.
- Perform repetitive assembly, terminating, molding, testing, and packaging operations on small parts.
- Test and inspect products to ensure specifications are met and report any deficiencies to leadership.
- Maintain defined quality standards throughout the assembly process.
- Document time spent on each job and other production information as necessary.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
- Attend and participate in all required trainings and departmental meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Experience as a Press Operator, Press Set up, Stamping Set up, Stamping operator, or similar roles.
- Proficiency in using small hand tools such as cutters, strippers, crimpers, and screwdrivers.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints and production/assembly instructions.
- Basic judgment skills in quality analysis and ability to communicate discrepancies.
- Capability to work with limited supervision in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Soldering skills are desired.
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including attendance requirements.

Work Environment
This position is for the 2nd shift, from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, with a $2 shift differential. Our campus consists of four buildings, providing a well-lit and organized environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Willoughby, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
