Wire Assembler (Electrical Panel Wiring) - Auburn Hills, MI (On-Site) Location: Auburn Hills, MI 48326 (On-site) Schedule: Mon-Thu 7:00 AM-3:30 PM ; Fri 6:30 AM-2:30 PM (40 hrs/week) Pay: $20.00/hr Summary Now hiring a Wire Assembler for a hands-on electrical manufacturing role building and wiring industrial electrical control panels . This is a great opportunity for an entry-level or early-career candidate who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and ready to learn panel build processes in a production environment. As a Wire Assembler , you'll follow build documentation, install components, and complete point-to-point wiring with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety. If you've worked as a wire tech, electrical assembler, panel builder, harness assembler, or in manufacturing assembly, this Wire Assembler position may be a strong match. Responsibilities Read and follow build sheets, work instructions, and basic electrical prints/diagrams Assemble electrical plates, back panels, and enclosures per build prep documentation Install electrical components (controllers, relays, terminal blocks, breakers) to specification Perform point-to-point wiring using correct wire color, gauge, and routing practices Crimp and apply ferrules/lugs; cut/strip wire; route and secure cable runs Add tags, labels, and wire identification to meet print and documentation requirements Complete standard work and in-process quality checks throughout the build Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety procedures and shop rules Support production flow by assisting teammates and completing additional tasks as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required (technical/vocational training is a plus) Comfortable using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing/assembly environment Ability to follow build sheets and work instructions; basic print/diagram reading preferred Strong attention to detail (wire ID, labeling, component placement, color/gauge accuracy) Ability to work independently, stay on pace, and maintain reliable attendance Experience in electrical assembly , panel wiring , control panel assembly , wire harnessing , or electronic assembly is a plus (not required) If you want steady hours and a skill-building role in electrical manufacturing, apply today for this Wire Assembler opening in Auburn Hills, MI.
