JOB DESCRIPTION

Assembly Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Technician with the ability to read schematics and blueprints. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing builds by gathering all necessary materials, completing layouts, and preparing tools for assembly tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Review part lists and assembly needs per instructions.
  • Assemble machinery and complete assemblies within set timelines.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Follow detailed instructions and collaborate with different departments for post-assembly inspections.
  • Perform quality checks with attention to detail.
  • Measure accurately using tape measures and micrometers/calipers.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Travel for two weeks out of the country for initial training.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with assembly and mechanical assembly processes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Industrial assembly experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid passport.
  • Prior assembly experience is essential.
  • Ability to read schematics.

Work Environment:

Join a company that is expanding in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. We prioritize work-life balance and high-quality work. The environment is temperature-controlled, and we are currently expanding from 50 to over 150 production employees. Our first shift runs Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, before transitioning to a Monday to Thursday schedule with 10-hour days. Steel-toed shoes are required for safety.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monee, IL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
