Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:  The Mission Critical Group team in Brookston, Indiana specializes in designing and building custom electrical switchgear and controls for a variety of applications. We engineer, build, and deploy specialized switchgear and control systems for the power generation industry. We are agile, fast-paced, and our goal is to provide our customers with clever, cost-effective products and solutions.  Under the direct supervision of the Shop Manager, the Assembly Technician performs wiring, assembly, and installation work on assigned switchgear at a basic level. The Assembly Technician will follow specific schedules and procedures including safety protocol, installation processes, and other instructions.Requirements:Job Responsibilities include:Proper utilization of all common, electrical, and carpentry shop toolsAssembly of electrical sheet metal enclosuresComputer literacyPerform general housekeeping duties as necessary or other assigned dutiesRequired Experience and Skills:  Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent combination for education, work experience, and skill developmentAt least 1 year of experience/familiarity with working in the electrical, mechanical, or assembly industry is requiredWork well in a team environmentSelf-motivated and detail-oriented individualResponsible for personal and area safety as well as general housekeepingLift up to 50 poundsWork Environment:On-the-job trainingSafe work environmentHeated and Cooled factoryCasual work attirePIfc2e5c185a03-25405-39244038
