This entry-level role is ideal for someone with basic technical skills and a strong desire to learn. Youll gain hands-on experience assembling mechanical and electrical components working closely with experienced engineers and technicians.This position is part of the Production Team located in Austin Texas and will be on-site.In this role a typical day will look like:Perform mechanical enclosure cable and wiring assembly using tools and work instructionsFollow detailed Work Instructions (WI) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assembly drawings to ensure consistent and high-quality buildsSupport product testing on the production line including functional tests basic troubleshooting and documentation of test resultsReport defects or assembly issues to supervisors technicians or engineering teamsMaintain a clean well-organized workstation and actively participate in a strong 5S programAdhere to all safety rules guidelines and best practices to promote a safe work environmentCollaborate with team members and support daily production goalsThe essential requirements of the job include:High school diploma or GEDAbility to read and follow work instructions diagrams and SOPsBasic understanding of hand tools and mechanical assembly practicesIt would be a plus if you also possess:Previous experience in assembly or electronics manufacturingStrong attention to detail and qualityWillingness to learn support team activities and uphold 5S and safety standardsOTT HydroMet is proud to be part of the Water Quality segment of Veralto (NYSE: VLTO) a $5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water safe food and medicine and trusted essential goods.
