Assembly Technician at Accentuate Staffing

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing civil engineering company in the RTP area who is hiring an Assembly Technician to join their team. This is a contract to hire opportunity working on 1st shift 8am-5pm. Responsibilities Build, assemble, and set up mechanical and electronic components according to established production instructions. Perform basic calibration, troubleshooting, and adjustments on equipment to ensure proper function. Review work orders, parts lists, and diagrams to complete assemblies accurately and on schedule. Inspect components and finished assemblies to verify they meet quality and performance standards. Work closely with Service, Engineering, and Sales teams to support smooth production flow and resolve technical questions. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Prior experience in a production, assembly, or mechanical repair environment. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and written instructions. Comfortable using basic hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices such as calipers or gauges. Basic understanding of quality checks, inspection practices, and documentation. Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and performing tasks that involve standing, bending, and walking.
