Among other activities this position will be responsible for developing and reporting on key performance indicators to measure effectiveness.Job Duties/Responsibilities: This role examines data from different sources with the goal of providing insight to client network operations processes security processes and data/information system processes. The analyst designs documents and implements custom algorithms and workflow processes on large data sets used for modeling data mining and research purposes.Required Clearance:Police background check (#clearable)Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in performing statistical analysis on large (massive) data sets.The successful candidate will demonstrate statistical analysis such as identifying the standard deviation of a large data doing so the candidate can use any tool such as spreadsheet software database software business intelligence and visualization tools or programming languages and platforms.* (Of note candidates may not utilize LLM or AI-assisted solutions such as ChatGPT which may reveal proprietary information outside the client enterprise network.)Desired Qualifications: Working knowledge of solutions such as Apache Spark Hadoop Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) Azure Data Lake or similar. At least three years of experience in network operations or cybersecurity with at least 1 year of that experience in data analysis.
